Women’s Pelvic Health

Empowering women through every stage of
pelvic health, pregnancy, and postpartum.

Pelvic Health

Pelvic health physical therapy treats diagnoses associated with the pelvic region in a private treatment room, one-on-one, with our expert pelvic rehabilitation specialist.

Your pelvic floor is the group of muscles and connective tissue that supports your pelvic organs. For women, that includes your bladder, bowel, and uterus.

Pregnancy vs. Postpartum Care

During pregnancy maintaining an active lifestyle is important for the mother’s and babies’ health. With a prior level of activity, weightlifting, powerlifting and even running are safe to do during pregnancy under the guidance of a physical therapist. Prepping the pelvic floor before labor can reduce the risk of tearing and improve recovery postpartum.

Postpartum care under the guidance of a physical therapist can help reduce leakage during sports training, running, and exertional activities such as coughing and sneezing. We are trained to help you return to your physical activity goals. Just because leakage is common, doesn’t mean it needs to be lifelong.
