J. Brooks Aberg
DPT, OCS

Brooks has been a part of the Treasure Valley community since 1975. He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Boise State University before pursuing graduate studies at Pacific University in Oregon, where he achieved both his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy, also graduating summa cum laude.

Brooks specializes in general orthopedics, focusing on peripheral joints and the spine. He has a particular passion for shoulder rehabilitation, foot mechanics, and sports medicine. As a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Brooks is committed to advancing his expertise and is currently working toward credentialing with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

Outside the clinic, Brooks embraces the “Idaho Experience” through activities like camping, mountain biking, running, and backpacking, often accompanied by his wife and two sons. He is also a certified interscholastic coach in tennis, volleyball, and basketball, further reflecting his dedication to sports and community engagement.
