Michaela was born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Oregon. She then completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

Michaela moved to Idaho to join the Foothills team and take advantage of the state’s incredible outdoor opportunities. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with her patients and equipping them with the tools to live healthy, active lives. Michaela has a particular passion for helping the aging population stay active and engaged. Being fluent in Spanish, she also enjoys expanding access to care and fostering connections within Spanish-speaking communities.

Outside of work, Michaela embraces all things outdoors. Her favorite activities include skiing, rock climbing, camping, hiking, backpacking, and kayaking.
